• Centenary Celebrations Draw to a Close for the Turner Group

  The Turner Group of Companies has brought to a close a whole year of celebrations after turning 100 years old in 2012. The Group has remained in the ownership of the Turner family for 100 years and the family culture is still very much in evidence throughout our workforce today.

• Commendation Award from Commander British Forces Joint Force Support (Afghanistan)

  Mister David Rowe, Deputy Project Manager, Fluor Turner Design Management Team (DMT) Afghanistan received a Commendation award on 17 May 2011 from Brigadier AT Davis MBE, Commander British Forces Joint Force Support (JFSp) Afghanistan for Distinguished Service in support of Operation HERRICK in the Afghanistan Theatre of Operations.

• ROSPA Gold Awarded for 3 Consecutive Years

  Turner Facilities Management and Turner Estate Solutions (a wholly owned subsidiary of Turner Facilities Management) have been awarded the RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety for the third year in a row. John Howie, Health and Safety Manager and Ian Meredith, Compliance Manager were presented with the award in Glasgow on 22 September 2011.

• Scottish Court Service Contract Award

  Turner Facilities Management in conjunction with Arthur McKay have been awarded a £30m Facilities Management contract with the Scottish Court Service. The contract is for a period of 4 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.

• Turner Estate Solutions Wins MOD Contract Extension in Scotland

  Turner Estate Solutions (a wholly owned subsidiary of Turner Facilities Management), has been awarded a 30 month extension of the Regional Prime Contract (Scotland) with Defence Estates (DE). The contract extension marks 7 years of working in partnership with Defence Estates (DE) to deliver the Prime Contract across the Ministry of Defence (MoD) estate in Scotland. This covers a diverse range of RAF, Navy and Army sites, in addition to accommodation for Service personnel and their families.

• Turner Facilities Management Wins Contract Extension

  Turner Facilities Management has been awarded a one year extension with a further three months option for the Design Management Team (DMT) Contract with the Ministry of Defence at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan.

• Turner Facilities Management Wins Security Excellence Award 2011

  On the 19 October 2011, at the Hilton Park in Park Lane, London, Turner Facilities Management was awarded the prestigous Environmental Award 2011 for their 'Big Dig' initiative.
